I love glitter,yes I do......

These days I can hardly run in  to any store without these little glittery nail polishes yelling at me "hey ,buy me!I'm only $4.99 You must get me!" So I have acquired a small collection this winter....

This NYE I have decided to go uber sparkly ...With my own sparkly nail concoction

I used 3 coats of Sinful Colors "out of this world" as the base color

For Glittery second coat  I used Sinful Colors "Queen of Beauty" mixed with some ultra fine gold craft glitter that I already had.
I mixed the two with a paintbrush so I wouldn't mix the gold specks in my silver bottle,and



Voila! sparkle mania!Perfect for ringing in the new year...

P.S I apologize for the poor quality of the pics,had to take them with the good old cellular tellular tonight

DIY Potato Stamp Art

Easy Cheap entertainment for my 6 year old (and me):) Stamp canvas,pillowcases,T-shirts ,etc...

                              What you will need.....
                               -Large Baking Potatoes
                               -Paint (fabric,poster,or acrylic)
                               -Sharp Kitchen or Craft  knife
                               -Your object to stamp on

Step 1) Wash Potatoes and cut in half in the middle or lengthwise,(either way will make 2 stamps)

step 2) Draw or Trace design on the flesh of the potato

Step 3) Cut around the design you traced,make sure cuts are only about 1/4" deep

step 4) Slice out the flesh of potato that is not your design,your design should be a little plateau protruding in the potato,with the other stuff cut out (be careful to slice the potato,and not your finger!)

I think I need gloves next time....:)








step 5) Put paint in a shallow dish or paper plate,dip your design in ,stamp away ,and have fun!!!

Maybelline Color Tattoo eye shadow gel rocks!

I admit it,I am a drug store make up addict !so when I saw the 24 hour claim on this new eyeshadow,I had to have it..

This is me wearing #45 Bold Gold,and I was pleasantly suprised when it lasted for a really long time, with the same amount of sparkle that it had when I applied in the am.(as you can see,most of my other make up had long worn off...)It is extremely easy to apply,and comes in a cute little glass jar.I will be heading to CVS for more colors:)
